Sometimes during a Mediumship reading, a Spirit will step forward to connect that the client does not recognize. That’s because the Spirit is connected to another loved one or a person close to the client. In more uncommon cases, it's not even for that person, anyone related to them, or that they know at all. Sometimes, it's a Spirit that prematurely comes through during a reading that is meant for a completely separate client that I've already lined up to read later in the week.
This was the case for two separate clients of mine.
Here is that story:
I greeted my client, we chatted for a while, then we dove into the reading. We both closed our eyes, took a few deep breaths, and a younger woman immediately stepped forward (teenage to very early 20s). Her energy was very strong, and she had a very clear message for me. “Please tell my family that I am okay, and that I'm fine, that how I passed away does not determine where I end up after my soul leaves my body.”
As I write this, I'm again covered in goosebumps.
She was very clear with me and showed me that she had passed prematurely in a horrific car accident. She is so concerned for her family and the grief that they are experiencing. The only problem was, my current client had no idea who this young lady was. My client didn't have a connection to anyone fitting that description, nor could she think of anyone on the spot for whom that message could be in her circle of friends and family.
I quickly said that it was not a problem, and acknowledged this young lady's pleas to me. I asked her to step aside as I connected to the client's passed loved one from whom they were initially hoping to hear in this reading.
From there, the reading went well. The client could easily validate the Spirit I brought through after the young lady, and was given some amazing healing messages. Before I ended the session with this client, I told her to please just make note of this young female and her messages for her family, and to ask around her circle to see if this description fits anyone she knows, just in case. Sometimes people forget things during readings.
Fast forward to today, the very next day. I'm getting ready for another Mediumship reading, and I still feel her very clearly; this young female around me who died in this horrific car accident. She was so persistent, she was still trying to send me mental messages while I was in the shower this morning. I took note and told her that I would keep trying to find her earthly connection.
I logged into my Mediumship reading for the day. I greeted my client and brought through lovely validation for them and great messages. Once we finished, I had some time left. So, I told my client I wanted to see if there was another Spirit who wanted to step forward before our time together was finished. The client said, “Sure, sounds good!”
Again, this young lady came forward, strongly wanting to tell her family that she was okay and not to be worried for her, she was just fine.
I decided to mention it anyway as I felt a duty to this young Spirit. As soon as I described who this Spirit was, how they died, etc., the client got full-body chills and said she knew exactly who this young lady was.
Hearing this, I also got chills - I had found an earthly connection for this sweet young girl. I mentioned the Spirit’s messages to her family; that she was fine, that how she died, in a horrific car accident, did not mean she was not okay now. That she loves her family, and is very, very concerned about them, and wants them to know she is still with them, almost with a level of desperation and panic.
Turns out, this young lady is the daughter of a friend of my client. Both the client and I were shocked by this unexpected, but incredibly needed connection and message. This Spirit was incredibly close to her family when she was alive, so the intense message made sense. We said our goodbyes, and the client said she would pass along the message to the young girl's family.
What I've learned through practicing the art of Mediumship is that our loved ones in Spirit are just as keen to connect with us on earth as we are to connect to them when they leave the physical world. Sometimes, they will come in so strongly with messages and will be persistent to Mediums, as this young lady was with me for the past 24 hours. Spirits will see an “open door” for a connection and will often step through it. In this case, it was a reading for a family friend.
This just goes to show that you never know what's going to happen during a Mediumship reading, just like you never know what the day will bring when you wake up in the morning.
Be open-minded. Come with a curious nature. Expect the unexpected.
